Behavioral Health Services
A renewal and resilience center helping our service men, women and their families heal from traumatic stress and other behavioral health conditions
Serving those who have Served for Us
Living Springs at Lourdes is a unique voluntary inpatient program designed to accommodate the behavioral health needs of our servicemen and women, veterans, spouses and adult dependents. Our focus is to support our patients in their journey to overcome behavioral issues such as depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance abuse, eating disorders, emotional trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Our Program – Designed to Heal
Located in a 21-bed dedicated unit at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in suburban Willingboro, New Jersey, Living Springs draws on the hospital's extensive expertise in providing behavioral health services.
Men and women are housed in separate sections of the private unit. All participants benefit from a comprehensive treatment program which includes individual counseling and group therapy, separated by gender. Dining facilities and general relaxation areas are co-ed.
Participants benefit from a combination of mainstream medicine and complementary therapies to enhance a healthy lifestyle—all of which have become synonymous with the Lourdes Health System.
Living Springs at Lourdes incorporates clinical modalities, such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialetical Behavioral Therapy
- Wellness Recovery Action Planning
Participants also experience a variety of recreational components to help in the recovery process. Beyond the clinical aspect of treatment, the center offers meditation, stress reduction, physical wellness and pet therapy as part of the daily program.
Each tract of care addresses the unique mental health and overall wellness needs of military service personnel, helping them manage integration and other challenges transitioning from a combat zone to home.

Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County is nationally recognized for excellence in behavioral healthcare.
Our specialized team is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in psychiatric and mental health and provides our participants with the best possible care. All of our staff has completed extensive PTSD training, including a U.S. Army Medicine Training program.
Our Extensive Capabilities
